Oh no! Another reunion mainstay gone way too early. May you rest in peace in Dukehalla.

My husband and I were shocked to learn of Don's passing. We had kept in contact with him and considered him a dear friend. He was a devoted father of 2 sons and a granddaughter. Even as a young man, he was a very hard worker at a local small store near my home and we attended the same church. He will be greatly missed.

So sorry that Don has passed. He used to write me love poems in junior high. I wish I still had them.

Don was a great guy, I took him flying once, and he was still talking about it at the 60th reunion. He also became great freinds with my Dad, who used to walk to Don's store with his dogs and chat. I hope to make it the next reunion, but it will be a bit less without Don.

Goodbye Don. He did such a great job trying to keep old York grads connected. Don really kicked in around the reunions and helped us get creative in pulling people together. It was a shock to hear he just passed away. Rest in peace.
