Since meeting at York Community High School, Mary Pat Rogers and husband Jim Kutschke maintained a loving relationship for almost 60 years. Married after college, they raised a family of two sons in Birmingham, AL. Mary Pat, who graduated from Northwestern University with an R.N., was Director of Nursing at St. Martin's in the Pines Nursing Home. Mary Pat and I were friends since grade school and neighbors in Brynhaven. What a lovely, kind person. Though our paths diverged in high school and beyond, I always considered her a friend. Rest in peace Mary Pat now that you're reunited with your soulmate, Jim. My sincere condolences to her family.
