My memories of Judy date from Elmhurst Junior High through York CHS.  For me and many others, her dazzling and frequent smile defined the rest of her personality, making her seem larger than her diminuative self.  I talked with her by phone before the 55th reunion, and then learned of her struggles with Parkinson's Disease.   But in my mind's eye, I chose to see her as that spunky gal I knew at York.

Judy, Jane Toedter, and I all grew up on Elm Street and started Roosevelt Grade School together. Carol Meiler joined us I think in the second grade. Judy is a part of so many fond memories of my growing up years in Elmhurst, all through grade school, Elmhurst Jr. High, and York High School. Although miles separated us, we remained in contact through the years with letters at Christmas. She wrote me when she was diagnosed with Parkinson's which her mother had suiffered from also. I will keep in my heart her big smile and enthusiam for life. RIP my friend.

So sad to hear about Judy.  We went to grade school at Roosevelt together.  She was tiny like me and always had a smile.  She had an extended illness but still kept in touch with Elmhurst friends.  RIP

I have very fond memories of Judy from years at Roosevelt grade school.  We shared classes and spent many hours together after school at each other's houses.  She and her whole family were delightful.  I was especially fond of her mother.  I'm sorry  Parkinson's marred her final years.  RIP Judy.

So sorry to hear about Judy's illness and passing. She was vivacious and always upbeat. We had an extended flirtation and even a date or two. We'll hold her spirited presence in memory.
