In Memory

Susan D. Geyer (Archibald)

Susan D. GEYER Archibald died in 2014, date and circumstances not known for this obituary.  According to her 50th reunion book comments, she owned and operated a bookstore near her long-time home in Steinhatchee, FL, and loved to sail.  Sail into the sunset, Sue...and we'll remember you as the beautiful fun person we knew at York.

Sue and I became good friends when we both worked at Elmhurst Hospital starting our junior years, and we reconnected 10 or 15 years ago.  We explored the hospital back halls and bent the rules together.  She amazed me because she sewed her own clothes - by hand - when we were at York.  I always thought I'd see her again.  Carpe Diem.  RIP Sue.

Susan and I were good friends while at Jefferson and Junior High.  We met again at the 50th reunion and discovered that neither of us had changed very much over all these years. We went to her childhood home and the owners were gracious enough to let us see her room.  Great memories. I am so saddened to hear of her passing.
