CCANADIAN ECO-TRIP IN THE ARTIC TO SEE THEM POLAR BA'RSIC

Pictures and Text by John Rumps   Trip taken with wife Barbara Bergan Oct. 28 - Nov. 4,

(NOTE:  John Rumps was with the U.S. Dept. of Interior of Alaska until he retired to Idaho, where his wife Barbara Bergan and he built a mountain home with a view, collect fuel for their wood-burning stove, maintain large bird and hummingbird feeding stations, and have mixed-results landscaping their property with animal-resistant plants.  A long-time conservationist, John found a tour to the Canadian Hudson Bay where they could see and experience polar bears in their natural but endangered habitat.  Here are their pictures and comments.)
